Berry Islands villa Rental Property Information

If you like walking on pristine beaches with shells everywhere, and great snorkeling in less than 20 feet of water -- well, all this can be yours directly outside our Conch Villa. We recently purchased this villa and totally renovated it. It's the perfect retreat for a small family who loves turquoise water (there's lots of shallow water for children to play in), and totally laid-back vacationing. Some of the best bone fishing in the world can be found here! Percy can take you, just ask for him when you get there. If you need a car, Happy People, Elorn Rolle, will rent you a car or a golf cart -- your choice. Boats are also available. Get Helen Butler to make you conch fritters, key lime pie, peas and rice, or other local dishes for a small fee. The villa's interior is furnished in the Bahamian tradition. There is one master bedroom with a queen-size bed. And there are two lofts -- one with twin beds and the other with a full-size bed.

The living room and bedroom have cathedral ceilings. The full kitchen is small, but fully equipped, including a microwave, washer and dryer. It has a breakfast bar and there is also a dining table. The living room and bedroom open up onto a wrap-around deck with fabulous views of the ocean. The master bedroom has a TV and VCR; bring your favorite movies, or rent some at our office. There is presently no cable or satellite; however, a VHF radio in the master bedroom is used as a telephone. There is a phone and fax in the main office which can be used upon request; a fee may be required. At night, in the far distance, you can see the lights of the cruise ships as they get ready to dock at their privately-owned islands. (With permission you may visit these islands and take part in the fun and food.) And in the morning you'll get an orange sunrise view from the master suite. Walkways lead from the villa to the sea; thatched umbrellas adorn the beach.

Everything is within walking distance, but cars, golf carts and boats are available upon request. Don't miss out on visiting this island! Great Harbor is known for its spectacular snorkeling and champion sport fishing, second only to the Biminis. The lobstering is unbelievable! Lying in a long lacy line, this group of 30 cays covers an area of 12 sq. miles. We would love to reserve this home for you. Come and enjoy our 'home away from home' with its every convenience. It's a true vacation whether you want to play or just relax! This is a laid back vacation spot. You can have all the privacy and relaxation you choose. Six persons maximum.
