It can be your 'home away from home' amidst 100-foot-tall trees. Why stay in the park where you'll pay more per night when you can enjoy seclusion and privacy in this wonderful home? The cabin features many 5-star amenities including a kitchen that would delight any chef. For casual eating when you don't feel like preparing your own meal, there's a local diner within walking distance -- just one-half mile away. This home provides the perfect home for a Winter or Summer getaway. Leave the city behind you! The 15.000ft. Sierra Nevada's offer great Hiking and Fishing . We have White Rapid's and deeper canyons than the Grand Canyon AZ. Hume Lake offers water activities ..John Muir referred to Kings Canyon / Sequoia as the quiet alternative to Yosemite ....We also feature Many Wonders Mini Horse Ranch which is a great place for Kids and the whole family to enjoy learning about caring for Horses. The cabin is just minutes away from the world's largest Redwood trees, the Giant Forest, Crystal Cave, Hume Lake, Pine Flat dam, and more. King's Canyon Park is also deeper at it's lowest point than the Grand Canyon in Arizona. The park is open year-round, 24 hours a day and includes a gift shop, restaurant, and exhibits. There is more to see than you'll have time for! King's Canyon will awe you with its towering granite and dancing river. The various parks' elevations range from 1,300 to 14,494 feet, and they feature many extraordinary plants and animals. King's Canyon has been referred to by Sierra Club founder John Muir as 'a rival to the Yosemite' -- but a truly quiet alternative. During the summer the temperatures range from the 50's to the high 80's. The current temperatures, as of June 22, 2008, are 80 during the day, and in the 55 degree range at night.

It's approximately four to five hours from Los Angeles and San Francisco off Hwy. 99.
