Charlottetown house Rental Property Information

Wyndham House has occupied a place of honor in the town of Tryon for over 130 years. Built in 1870, it served as home for the ministers of the United Methodist Church -- which still stands nearby and is now a National Historic Site. After years of restoration and refurbishment, it is now our summer home in Prince Edward Island. Situated near the ocean, Wyndham House is surrounded by trees in its own park-like setting. It overlooks the Tryon River, which flows to the sea five minutes away. The location is reminiscent of Lucy Maud Montgomery's classic 'Anne of Green Gables'. The house and river, as seen from the nearby hills, is one of the most picturesque views on Prince Edward Island. Wyndham House is a perfect marriage of modern conveniences and its heritage roots. It has received an award from the PEI Heritage and Museums Foundation for preservation excellence. Oh, and by the way, we have an indoor heated pool...how yummy is that?

The quiet sandy beaches of the south shore are just five minutes away. They are child-friendly, and perfect for swimming, walking, and exploring. South shore air and water temperatures are the warmest on the Island. Wyndham House is unique among all vacation homes available on Prince Edward Island.

Indoor pool! We now have an indoor heated pool. The beaches here are great but isn't it also great to go swimming when it raining? Yes, we think so too!
