Quidnet house Rental Property Information

Nantucket is a special place, and Quidnuck is a special way to see it. Our home is located on the quiet and beautiful east end of the island between Sconset and Squam -- five miles and ten minutes from Nantucket town. Quidnuck features large, light-filled bedrooms, two fireplaces, a great kitchen, top-of-the-line furnishings and linens, three decks, a hammock, and all beach equipment. Our house is set on 1.5 acres on a quiet road with only five houses. It's just one-half mile from a wonderful beach/pond combination at Quidnet -- each with lovely sand beaches and much different water experiences. The pond is about one mile in diameter, and is warm and quiet -- great for smaller children. The uncrowded beach is part of 36 miles of beaches on Nantucket that are open to the public. We love the house and island, and so does everyone who stays here.

Quidnuck is located at the east end of Nantucket Island, near Quidnet and 3 miles north of Sconset. It is 5 miles from downtown. This part of the island has larger lots and more privacy (more trees) than other parts of the island. The pond and pond beach that adjoins the ocean beach at Quidnet is a special treat. Both beaches are lovely and uncrowded and the pond water is up to 10 degrees warmer than the ocean

There is a second fireplace in the dining room/kitchen. There is a front porch, and two decks, all with plenty of seating. The east facing deck has a dining table and the gas grill. The sprinkler system keeps the large flat lawn green and flowers/plants around the decks blooming throughout the summer.
