The Grand Bear Lodge and Villas has many amenities: Indoor Water Park, Game Room, Huge Indoor Amusement Park with Sports Bar, Exercise Room, Restaurants, Grill, Miniature Golf, convenience store and Beautiful grounds. Starved Rock State Park is 27,000 Acres and has hiking along the nature trails, viewing the many overlooks along the Illinois River and numerous recreational opportunities. There are 18 canyons formed by glacial melt waters and erosion over millions of years. They cut through tree covered, sandstone bluffs for 4 miles at the Park, located along the South side of the Illinois River, one mile south of Utica and midway between La Salle-Peru and Ottawa. The views and wild life are magnificent to experience.
