New Smyrna Beach villa Rental Property Information

This beautiful fully-equipped, two-bedroom/two-bath one level villa is located just steps away from the shore of the Atlantic Ocean in peaceful Sea Woods Resort. This section of the beach is in the 'car-free' (no motorized vehicle driving on beach) zone which is especially nice for sunbathing, strolling and for families with children. The Resort is located just across a two lane road from the beach and also has 3 swimming pools (1 heated during winter), 4 tennis courts, a racquetball court, walking trails, and fitness center with sauna. A grocery store and several small restaurants are located next door to the resort. The Villa is fully outfitted with a full size washer and dryer, full size fully equipped kitchen, a plentiful supply of linens, beach items (chairs, towels, kids beach toys, 6 boogie boards, wheeled beach cart, beach umbrella, coolers, etc.). The Villa allows parking just outside your doorstep and has separate living and dining areas and a beautiful tropical atrium.

Location

New Smyrna Beach is a rare find - a still unspoiled 'family friendly' beach town! The 'land side' of town (across the bridge further from the ocean) has a small town feel although many of the chain restaurants and stores (McDonald's, KMart, WalMart, Denny's, Burger King, etc.) are there. The 'beach side' of town (where the resort is located) is on a barrier island. Here you will see less of the chain stores and more independent shops and restaurants. The Downtown area is well known for it's quaint art shops. It's just a lovely, relaxing 'beach' town. The traffic is generally very light (compared to Daytona, Orlando, etc.). There are tons of great restaurants in town. If you want more excitement Daytona is a short drive (about 20 min.) North and Orlando is about an hour to the South-west.

The villa includes two televisions with cable, a VCR/DVD player, two telephones (one with answering machine), foul weather umbrellas, an iron and ironing board, two hair dryers and virtually any kitchen gadget or item you could need. Great care has been taken to provide items that might be needed during your stay (for example such things as maps and information on the local area, local area restaurant menus, flashlights, sewing kit, kids toys and adult games and books, etc.) Parking is just outside the doorstep of the one level villa (no hauling luggage upstairs!). Sea Woods Resort is a beautiful planned community on approximately 53 acres of wooded landscaped 'rolling dunes' separated from the Atlantic Ocean by only a two lane road. A mixture of full time residents and vacationing guests occupy the resort. The resort offers 3 swimming pools (one is heated during chilly months), 4 tennis courts (2 lighted), a scenic walking/biking/jogging path, racquetball courts, and fitness center with sauna. Sea Woods Resort is located directly across the road from the ocean. From our villa it is literally a five minute walk from your front door to the sand. A grocery store and several restaurants are located next to the resort or in easy walking distance. This clean, private, comfortable 'home away from home' is fully equipped including central heat and air, ceiling fans, telephone with answering machine, a plentiful supply of bed and bath linens, 2 hair dryers, make-up mirror, vanity seat, iron and ironing board, umbrellas, full size washer and dryer.

2 Color cable TVs (31' and 19'), VCR/DVD/CD player, books, games, beach chairs & towels, beach umbrella, radio, beach toys, boogie boards, wheeled cart to transport chairs & gear to beach, soft-side and large sturdy coolers, thermos, tennis rackets, and much more. The complete kitchen offers a full-size refrigerator, stove/oven, toaster, blender, dishes, cookware, utensils, coffee maker, microwave, spices, and virtually any gadget you might need. Free local phone calls are included. There is a lovely atrium with tropical foliage located in the center of the villa. The one level villa is easily accessible with parking just outside your doorstep. The individually owned villa is locally professionally managed and a 24 hour emergency number is provided. The beautiful unspoiled beach community of New Smyrna Beach is the perfect location for a Florida vacation. New Smyrna Beach has avoided the over-built, over-commercialized feel of so many beach communities.

Among the local things to see and do - visit Ponce DeLeon Lighthouse (the 2nd tallest in the U.S.) for a breathtaking view, the local historical Sugar Mill ruins or the 57,000 acre Canaveral National seashore park. Take the 'people' ferry from New Smyrna to several Daytona ocean-side restaurants (2 hours round trip). Fishing, boating and golfing are locally available. The city of Daytona Beach is just about a 20 minute drive away. Orlando and its many attractions (Disney, Sea World, Universal Studios, and more), Cape Canaveral, and St. Augustine -- the oldest city in the United States -- are all less than 1 and 1/2 hour drive. Check-in time is between 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm on day of arrival. Check-out time is by 10 am on day of departure unless special arrangements are made. We can occasionally accommodate stays of less than one week. Please note that the Resort Community does not permit boats, trailers or RVs to park overnight. Smoking and Pets are not permitted.
