This is not a 'hearty party' house, but a wonderful place to kick back, relax, enjoy the pool and the lake. No high school or college groups or wild party groups accepted. Perfect for families, girlfriend get togethers, honeymooners, etc. Lots of good shopping, restaurants, golf and entertainment within a short drive. I would consider renters of over one week, especially during the off season. The living area has a sofa which seats 3 or 4 and there are 2 recliners. There are plenty of chairs that can be moved from the dining area into the living area for additional seating. Central ac/heat. Very comfortable, charming house house----all hardwood floors and paneling.. At this time the lake is too low to dock at our place but there are several conveniently located marinas in the area Unfortunately, due to the extreme drought, most of them are closed also.

Perfect Fall Get-away! This is a perfect place for a Spring-Summer get-away. The weather is fantastic!! Enjoy the serenity of our private location, but wonderful restaurants, plentiful shopping, movies, golf, etc. are all within a 15 to 20 minute drive away. If you want to check out Austin, we are only about 30-35 minutes from downtown Austin and the legendary 6th Street.

The cottage is warm, cozy and private and comfortable and has all the amenities that you would need., including 3 Cable TV's and WiFi. You'll feel like you're 'away from it all', and yet you are so close to the many attractions of Austin. The cottage is located only 15 minutes away from Prime shopping like the brand new Hill Country Galleria Mall, and is close to many restaurants like the Oasis, Iguana Grill, Rocco's, and many others. It is also close to Lakeway for those guests who want to play golf. This is the perfect getaway for a weekend or longer. Come relax and feel the stress melt away! NOTICE: Due to the drought and the fact that the lake level is lower than usual,our dock is not available for your boat, at this time. There are several marinas located close by where you can launch a boat. We have just installed a new central AC/heating system to add to the comfort of our guests. and are in the process of refinishing the pool

Golf Information: We are conveniently located close to several golf courses----including Lakeway and Falconheard. There are also several marinas where you can rent boats and other watercraft.
