can be a cowboy for a day at Fiddler’s Green Ranch, where National Mounted Police horses are
trained. Eighteen beautiful golf courses are located near Tavares, and wine-tasting tours are
available at Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards.
The town of Tavares is host to the annual 'Downtown Fall Festival' at the end of October, and
the 'Light Up Celebration', usually held in late fall. All the peace and relaxation of the
countryside - just a short drive to the excitement of Orlando.
