Bear's Den is one of the favorite and most charming homes available for rental at Big Canoe. Located in the sought-after Laurel Ridge area of Big Canoe, the home provides easy access to many of the amenities available for adults and children. Just a walk down the street will take you to Lake Disharoon with beach, outdoor swimming pool, paddle boats and canoes, and the rock slide. Wonderful hiking trails are nearby that go through fern glades and lead to wonderful waterfalls. The Big Canoe fitness center offers indoor saline pool, top-of-the-line fitness equipment, indoor tennis courts, racquetball, spa, sauna and much more. The Wolfscratch Country Store is just across the street to provide for basics like coffee, milk or newspapers. You can't beat the location in Big Canoe if you're visiting. The home overlooks Wolfscratch Village of Big Canoe and also has panoramic views of the mountains, golf course and club house from the decks and many rooms in the home.

Big Canoe Mountain Resort Big Canoe Resort is a privately gated community in the North Georgia Mountains, only 1 hour North of Atlanta. Seven mountain peaks nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountain District make up its area, offering peace and tranquility to all that live and visit here. All amenities are available inside the gates from general store items to gas, however, wineries, the Appalachian trail, outlet mall shopping, and small town crafts are only 10-20 minutes away. Best known for its hiking, fishing, tennis, swimming, pontoon boating, and of course canoeing, Big Canoe's 3 lakes and 27 holes of championship golf all in a 6,400 acre setting exceeding 3,000 vertical elevation. (2) Kids pools, sandy beach w/ volleyball, paddle boating, and a rock slide are walking distance away. Up to 4 weddings at a time can be catered in its non-denominational chapel, various venues, and new clubhouse completed in July 2008. Live Concerts and other entertainment events are offered during the year.
