About This Location No car needed - you can bike or walk just about anywhere from Boardwalk Heights. You can easily visit the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk by foot or by bike. You may wish to rent bikes just down the street - and/or rent paddle boards, surf boards, or kayaks at the nearby Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor. Take a leisurely riverside stroll down to Pacific Street where you can browse the boutique shops and/or catch a movie at one of the nearby theatres.

Some Other Ideas Ride or stroll down to the Wharf to purchase fresh sea food directly off the boats of the incoming fisherman. Cook your meal up in the chef’s kitchen, with a fire burning in the nearby fireplace, and sit around afterwards playing card games. Or, perhaps you will want to stop in for a friendly round of miniature golf at Neptune’s Kingdom within the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk - or get a ride in on the Giant Dipper – named a National Historic Landmark in 1987 and awarded a “Golden Ticket Award” as one of the Top 25 Wood Coasters in the world!
