Welcome to the Loggerhead House. This oceanview and golf frontage home is the perfect place for your visit to Bald Head Island, North Carolina. The breathtaking South Beach is only a one to two minute walk. This family vacation home has four bedrooms - each with its own full bath. The home is fully furnished, and includes a complete kitchen, a large dining area, and a fabulous great room with unique woodwork and tall ceilings. There are two outdoor decks and two screened-in porches affording spectacular views of the golf course, lagoon, and sunsets over the ocean. The home is centrally located and convenient to all the island attractions. In a one to two minute walk, you can be splashing in the ocean. Or you can take one of the two golf carts to tour the beautiful island. Bald Head Island temporary memberships to the Country and Shoal's Club will be provided; so you can enjoy swimming, tennis, golf, and romantic dinners.

Bald Head Island and the Loggerhead House are truly special places. You will feel that the Island was designed just for you! Bald Head Island has many attractions for everyone from the nature enthusiast to those learning to walk. The natural beauty of the Island is breathtaking with miles of white sandy beaches, maritime forests, marshes, and tidal creeks. Add a thoughtfully planned community, luxurious country clubs, and you have the perfect vacation paradise. The Nature conservancy has programs for old and young alike such as the famous night 'Turtle Walk' and bird watch. For the more adventurous, one can hike the many forest trails, kayak the creeks, bike the car free roads, or set out on the East Beach where one can walk for miles without sight of any civilization. If that is not your cup of tea, head out to one of the Bald Head Island clubs to swim, golf, play tennis, work out, or enjoy fine dining.

There are several other restaurants and shops on the Island as well as historic Southport, but your favorite meals will probably be the ones you have at the Loggerhead House with family and friends.
