Big White townhome Rental Property Information

A new 3 story town home in the middle of Big White ski resort! Rated one of the nicest properties and locations in Big White, it was featured in the Big White 'infomercial'. Only a few minutes walk to either Happy Valley or the Village Center with the ski track passing 2 steps out the back door! A gentle slop takes you to three of the main ski lifts (including the beginner's 'plaza chair').

It is so easy to get to Big White that you don’t have to worry about whether or not you will have a car. Big White is 56 km (35 miles) southeast of Kelowna, the largest city in the Okanagan Valley, making it easily accessible. You can fly into Kelowna’s International Airport and take a quick shuttle to get you to the resort. Many of the major airlines have daily direct flights from many major cities so you have plenty of traveling options. Kelowna International Airport is serviced by many of the top Canadian airlines — Air Canada, Jazz, WestJet, Horizon Air (Alaska Airlines) and Regional 1 Airlines. These airlines are partnered with many international carriers and fly non-stop to Kelowna daily from Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria, Kamloops, Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, Red Deer and Seattle.

1 Blacksmith lodge is luxurious town home accommodation spread over 3 floors for privacy. The master suites and laundry facilities are on the top level, with the main great room, kitchen, den, dining area and WC on the mid level. This level also has two outside decks and access to the outdoor hot tub. The lower level features a family room with more sofas, sleeping accommodation, a further bathroom and access to the heated garage. All slate floors are hot water heated and the unit is finished to a very high standard. Linens, towels and bathroom amenities are provided and for long stays a our cleaning staff will provide clean towels midway through. The hot tub is fully cleaned and inspected every other day.

To keep up with your e-mails, we have provided free high-speed wireless Internet access for our guests. Access to the lodge is via a Keypad code, which will be sent to you shortly prior to your arrival. Big White ski resort is Canada’s largest ski-in/ski-out resort with an average snowfall of 25 feet of 'champagne powder' snow. It has 118 designated trails, 27 unnamed trails, and lots of off piste skiing in the powder bowls and tree glades; 18% of the runs are beginner, 56% intermediate, and 26% expert.

We have both been skiing and snowboarding for many years and we still love the place. Not only for the great snow and challenging terrain, but also because of the friendly atmosphere and last but not least: no long lift queues! We've put a lot of thought in making the lodge as comfortable as possible, to ensure our guests will have a wonderful, fun and worry free holiday!
