The nearby “Ocean World”, offers a marine park and water sport activities as well (passes included). The resort restaurants, 2 buffet restaurants, an Asian fusion restaurant, an Italian restaurant, a seafood & steak restaurant, a Mexican restaurant and a gourmet restaurant prepare wonderful meals with one that remains open all night. In addition, the on-site spa offers top luxury services (30% off) that will relieve your stress and set the tone for your island get-away. The all-inclusive (not optional) includes breakfast prepared for you at your villa each morning & a grand BBQ one night that includes steak & lobster. Cofresi has been the site of recent developments which have transformed the small beach cove into its own paradise. Ocean World, located on the west end of the beach cove, is an interactive marine park where curious nature lovers are allowed to swim with dolphins, feed Bengal tigers, and walk through tropical bird sanctuaries. Next to this establishment is the Ocean World Marina and Casino, which is the only fully operating marina on the North Coast. Along the beach are a myriad of shops and restaurants. Teddy Reader, the television popular Canadian “King of the BBQ” has recently opened a successful seaside restaurant. Further along the beach lies the “Sun Village Spa and Resort Complex.” The spa portion of the resort has just opened, and with reservations is open to the public. Canciones De Cofresi, centrally located is a five minute walk to Sun Village on the east, Ocean World to the west, and the Cofresi beach to the North.
