This Big Island of Hawaii vacation rental is located directly on the ocean front. When you are in the living room you feel like you are on the bow of a big ship (without the seasickness of course). This island vacation rental is 4 stories tall. It comes with an in-home elevator that can take you to each floor, including the big roof deck, in comfort, which makes this island rental wheelchair accessible. The floors are porcelain tile throughout, so they are accessible by young and old alike. The first floor contains the garage, bathroom and entry. The second floor of this rental, has 3 spacious bedrooms, with an oceanfront lanai off the master, 2 baths, and a full laundry room. The 3rd floor has a big, comfortable, open living room, dining room and fully stocked kitchen. This open set-up makes for comfortable island living, and this big room opens onto a covered lanai that is perfect for enjoying the cool island breezes of Hawaii and the beauty of the ocean on the Big Island coast.

Why stay with us? You will never forget this one of a kind house. Situated directly on the oceanfront, your front yard is always changing. There are 180 degree ocean views from every floor, and we provide binoculars so you can watch the turtles, dolphins or whales swim by. When the fishing boats hook up a fish and stop, you can watch them reel it in, right from the comfort of your easy chair. The elevator makes this house accessible to all. The ocean breeze that is almost always blowing, keeps this island home cool and comfortable at all times. Watch the sunrise every morning as it emerges from the ocean. During the full moon you will marvel as the moon rises out of the ocean and lights up the water with moonbeams. You can sunbathe on the roof deck,, and then use the outdoor shower to cool off . The stargazing at night is unbelievable from the roof. There are lots of things to see and do in the area. You will never tire of the spectacular views from every floor in this unique home.
What to do while your visiting? This area abounds in natural beauty. Kilauea Volcano is erupting just a 15 minute drive from the house. This is a once in a lifetime experience, and the Park Service has made it fairly accessible to most visitors. There is fshing all along the coast if you like, or snorkel at the Nature Conservancy tide pools. The neighborhood is a great place to walk or jog if you like your morning exercise. Or visit the hot ponds, go hiking, or go to Pahoa which is only 6 miles away to visit shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Travel to Hilo only about 30 minutes away for museums, botanical gardens, waterfalls, equestrian center, zoo, more shopping and lots more restaurants. Black sand beaches, surfing and swimming are available in Hilo or travel to the Kona Coast and enjoy the white sand beaches. Rain forests, flowers, birds, nature is in abundance around here. And there is always just sitting and relaxing and watching the ocean from anywhere in the house.
