Brand New Honua Kai Resort Three spectacular swimming pools, each with its own unique experience. The Formal Pool is an infinity-edge lap pool featuring two hot tubs and perfect ocean views. The Ohana Pool will feature a one hundred and twenty foot water slide and a waterfall that cascades into the main swimming area. Natural lava rock will form an elevated hot tub that takes in the ocean views. The Ohana Pool will also have a sandy beach and a shallow 'keiki', Hawaiian for kids' pool. The River Pool will feature a meandering river that flows through smaller swimming holes and waterfalls. The Formal pool will be finished February 1, 2009 with the other two pools finishing late 2009. Extensive landscaping with tropical and native Hawaiian plants will provide color, fragrance, and beauty to Honua Kai's natural setting. Fitness Room is open and next to the Lobby.
Luxurious Amenities Beachside Restaurant (opening Fall 2009) offers leisurely upscale dining with a casual menu of the freshest island fish, prime steaks, and seasonal produce and local flavors. They will also provide room and pool-side service. A 10,000 square foot full-service spa with treatment rooms, massage therapy and workout facilities. This facility is in the Konea building and will be done late 2009. Secured underground parking. In addition to its amenities, Honua Kai's perfect location on Ka'anapali Beach allows for easy access to golf, tennis, shopping, snorkeling, surfing, whale watching, or just relaxing on the beach listening to the soothing waves of The Pacific Ocean and enjoying the spectacular sunsets. You can walk along the beach to Whaler's Village and Blackrock. Historic Lahaina is a 5 minute drive from Honua Kai. It was the first capital of Hawaii and still very vibrant today. You can take in the cultural activities, shops, galleries and award-winning restaurants
