Uncle Stacy's Cabin - Laurel Springs, NC - North Carolina Blue Ridge Parkway Lodging Laurel Springs North Carolina Blue Ridge Parkway Lodging Cross the Eastern Continental Divide into a world of beauty and relaxation. Uncle Stacy's Cabin is named after my Uncle who lived here well into his golden years with my Aunt Burdell. This was our favorite vacation destination. Besides enjoying their warm fellowship, we loved the surrounding beauty and serenity. Its not often that you come across a place where you can slow down, sit in a rocking chair on the front porch and feel like your the only ones on earth. You are invited to enjoy the simpler joys in life. Watch the sun set on the Blue Ridge Mountains. Gaze at millions of stars in the clear night sky. Find yourself holding your breath as you realize the deer at the edge of the trees have not seen you.

There are plenty of things to do like rafting on the New River, hiking, golfing, antique shopping, Barn Dances and local wineries to mention a few. The pace is slower here. You'll find friendly folks along the way that smile, wave, and are happy to show you what mountain living is all about. We provide all the comforts of home. You need only to prepare yourself to surrender to a simpler life. Enjoy nature, breath in the crisp mountain air and quench your thirst with spring water from the mountain not a bottle.
