Ten miles east of downtown Asheville, NC, Asheville Lookout, a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath Chalet with air-conditioning and heated floors on 15 wooded acres has an outstanding view of Watch Knob Mountain and the Bee Tree Valley below. The Great Room features a stone wood burning fireplace, Direct TV, DVD, VCR and Stereo. The dining area kitchen with seating for eight, downdraft glass cook top, microwave, wall oven, refrigerator and dishwasher makes entertaining easy. Enjoy the view through the all-glass South wall, or walk out to the 16 x 50 foot deck with glider, chairs, picnic table and gas grill. Pamper yourself in the 4 person Hot Tub on the sun porch off the King Master Suite. The West Queen bedroom has a private deck for sunbathing or stargazing. The East Queen bedroom features a spiral staircase to an Upper Loft with single trundle bed. The Lower Loft with Full Futon also has a computer with high speed wireless satellite Internet. Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • Pets are welcome. $125.00 Pet Fee per Rental Period.
  • A $250 security/damage deposit and 50% of the total rental fee will be required to book a reservation. This may be paid by credit card or certified bank check. The remaining balance of the rental fee must be paid 30 days prior to arrival. If a booking is requested within thirty days of the arrival date, the entire rental fee, including deposit, cleaning charge, taxes and Pet fee, when applicable, is required. The security deposit will be returned within 30 days of departure, provided no property damages are incurred.
  • Cancellations will result in forfeiture of the $250 security/damage deposit. Cancellations within 30 days of the start date will forfeit the $250 security fee and an additional $250. The owner reserves the right to cancel the reservation if a signed rental agreement is not returned or the rental fee is not paid in full 30 days prior to arrival date. In the unlikely event that the property becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, the owner reserves the right to cancel the booking and return all renter’s payments without further liability to the owner. We do not offer trip or cancellation insurance.

The West Bedroom upstairs features a Queen size Bed (sleeps 2), single Closet, single dresser, ceiling fan, Baby Crib, Direct TV and private deck with chaise lounges. The East Bedroom upstairs (sleeps 4) has a Queen size bed, two double closets, two dressers, ceiling fan and a spiral staircase leading to the open Upper Loft which has a single bed and trundle for two children. The Loft, open to the Great Room below, will sleep 2 more guests on the Full-size futon. Each bedroom is decorated with Waverly brand drapes and comforters, 600 count sheets, hypoallergenic pillows and down quilts. All linens provided.

The Loft closet houses a Pentium 4 Windows XP computer with Hughes Net Satellite Internet and Wireless connectivity through open SSID. Wireless Internet booster to allow full house connectivity. Full size Washer and Dryer located in the Utility room off the kitchen. A prepaid long distance calling card is recommended, as not all cell phones will have service. The house phone is local service only for outgoing calls.
