Further Details for the house in Mexico
Do you like to Deep Sea Fish? The Puerto Vallarta fishing area is located on Mexico's open, central Pacific coast at about latitude 20 degrees north. Puerto Vallarta's offshore sport fishing water temperatures range from the low-70s in February-March, to the high-80s in August-September. During the summer-fall months of June-October and into November, the peak yellowfin tuna season brings tuna of all sizes, including huge fish pushing close to the 400-pound class, to Puerto Vallarta's outer waters. Closely following as water temperatures and sea conditions stabilize from about September onwards are peak seasons for dorado (also called mahi-mahi), black marlin, blue marlin, sailfish, and wahoo. Inshore fishing for jacks, snappers, and other species is always available, with a good midsummer roosterfish run during July-August, jack crevalle peaking during February-March, and the various pargo or snapper species. Excellent fishing much of the year--especially for really huge tuna and marlin.
Beaches - the best beaches in Puerto Vallarta: Unargueably, the best beaches in the Puerto Vallarta area are on the north shore - Destiladares, Manzanilla, Sayulita, Bucerias, and San Pancho (also called San Francisco). The beaches here are endless: you could easily walk along its medium-coarse beige sands from La Cruz all the way south to Nuevo Vallarta. The surf is gentle enough for swimming but also has body-surfable waves. The best beaches for surfing and boogie boarding are Destiladares and Sayulita.
La Cruz - a charming fishing village- La Cruz de Huanacaxtle is home to the new 400-slip Marina Riviera Nayarit which includes world-class fishing charters - e.g. dorado (mahi mahi), huachingo (red snapper), sailfish, and marlin. 7 Golf Courses surround Casa Parota. Along with numerous fabulous restaurants, beach clubs, and sightseeing. La Cruz is located in the center of the newly-emerging North Bay area, which extends from Bucerias to Punta Mita (home of the Four Seasons Punta Mita), and beyond to Sayulita and San Francisco (also called San Pancho). 7 Golf Courses nearby - and more golf courses being added every year. Two morecourses nearby coming online at the emerging Ritz Carlton located at the new Fonatur resort area between Punta de Mita and Sayulita.
