Five minutes from Los Angeles International Airport, just south of Marina Del Rey , overlooking the Ballona Natural Wetlands, lies the hidden beach treasure called “Playa Del Rey”. If you are looking for peace & tranquility in an adult family vacation ....welcome to this hidden sleepy beach town. Walking or biking distance from the downtown area, one can enjoy, local restaurants, bars, and shops. Directly in front of the downtown area, guests can enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Ocean with breathtaking sunsets, while enjoying a cocktail paired with local cuisine. If you are looking for exercise the bike path, located on the beach, runs south to Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Redondo Beach. Head north and you can ride through Marina Del Rey, world famous “Venice Beach, Santa Monica, and end up in Malibu. To the south Marina Del Rey’s “Fisherman’s Village, offers daily speedboat excursions to “Catalina Island”.

The good news is that you are directly in the middle and the choice is there for you. (There are 2 bicycles that come with the rental). If you are choosing to drive local surface roads are available & freeways can be avoided. Given the infamous Los Angeles traffic congestion, if you plan your time frame correctly you are relatively close to places such as Beverly Hills / Rodeo Drive, Hollywood/ Sunset Strip, Universal Studio & Disneyland. This contemporary house is located within 1 mile from the beach in a quiet residential neighborhood setting with ample parking for guests who might stop by to visit. Across the street to the west and south lie two beautifully landscaped parks accessible for public use.

The sleeping arrangements are 3 Queen Beds and 2 sofas and 1 blow up. Most importantly, and probably what attracts you to Southern California…..our weather will most likely be great.
