The Sea Ranch house Rental Property Information

Garden by the Sea: 2 bedroom/2 bathroom cottage in The Sea Ranch! This is not your typical rental house, this is our vacation home that we use often but rent out on a limited basis. Because of this the house is furnished with comfortable high quality items and is very well kept. This 2 bedroom / 2 bath light and bright home is spacious (about 1500 square feet), was built in 1992 and is located in the west meadow on the north end of The Sea Ranch. The home is located about a 3 minute walk to the Bluff Top Trail. The back yard is on the golf course, but is very private as the course is hidden behind trees. The house is conveniently located near Gualala (where you will find a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, and shops).

  • The master bedroom has a California king bed (Stearns and Foster mattress!) and the second bedroom has a queen bed and an office nook, ideal if you need to get some work done on your vacation. The sheets are high thread count, the comforters and pillows in the master are down and in the 2nd bedroom are synthetic down! We have a pack-n-play stored in the closet, should you need a crib for a young one. The living room has bench seating around the windows that could provide additional sleeping space in a pinch. We also have a good quality inflatable mattress (aerobed brand).

The living/dining/kitchen area is an open floor plan with a soaring ceiling and lots of windows, which brighten the home. Relax in the deep, comfortable (Restoration Hardware) down stuffed sofa and watch a movie; or turn down the lights (many lights on dimmer switches), turn on some classical or jazz, and watch the fireplace as it takes the chill off the cool evenings. The living room is equipped with satellite television, a DVD and VCR player, a CD player, and a stereo (including a cord for you to insert your iPod). The house is equipped with wireless Internet. We provide several books, VCR movies, games for adults and children alike, and music CDs for your enjoyment. The kitchen is very well stocked with high quality cooking tools (All-Clad pans, Wusthof knives, etc.). If Williams-Sonoma sells it, we probably have it! (call us if you have specific questions. Brand new high quality kitchen appliances (Kitchen Aid) and high quality washer and dryer were in installed in July 2008.

The home has two decks: one facing west with some ocean views and the other facing east with views of the redwood forest ridgeline. Sit on the East Deck for the sun rise, the sit on the West Deck for the sun set. There is also a very private garden courtyard, ideal for sitting in the sun and reading a book and watching the hummingbirds buzz around!

The home comes with 6 passes to access the 3 recreation centers with heated year round pools and tennis courts. In addition, the Sea Ranch has a world class links-style golf course. The Sea Ranch has a ten-mile bluff trail system that follows a gorgeous coastline and leads to several beaches where you can enjoy crashing waves, harbor seals, tide pools, and a variety of shore birds.
