Relax in dreamy Paradise!! The place to cast off all your cares and soak up the sun under a graceful palm tree while gazing at the aqua waters. Also, the friendly managers will provide all the help and information needed. Bring a friend! Shared rates for the studio apartment are only $50.00 per person per night for a beachside vacation. (Studio rate is 100.00/night (dbl occupancy)). Even better, bring several friends, cause the shared rate for the studio plus additional bedroom are only 33.75 per person per night (Studio plus additional bedroom is 135.00/night) The gift shop is the place to escape the heat, and browse through Bahamian gifts and clothing. It also contains a small library for your reading pleasure. Vacation Location: Laughing Bird's Apartments are located in a quiet corner of town, with shops and restaurants within a five minute walk; car rentals are not necessary!! Your family's home away from home!

Charming Accommodations ! What's inside: Amenities include air-conditioning, cable TV, a full kitchen, a refrigerator, cooking utensils, linens, and a charcoal barbecue grill in the garden. Geographically: Laughing Bird Apartments are situated on the beach in Governors Harbour, across from Laughing Bird Cay. All apartments face the sea and a sand shelling beach. The apartments are located in their own acre of beautiful tropical gardens, in an atmosphere of quiet serenity. Our well outfitted apartments are fully air-conditioned, and are equipped with a kitchen, linens, and crockery. All utilities are included in the rental rates. Maid service and an extra bedroom are offered at a small additional charge. Miscellaneous Info: Pets are allowed since we are pet friendly. Maid service is offered at a small extra cost, and a fax machine is available in the office.

Local History and Travel Info: Local History: The town of Governor's Harbour is centrally located on the 105 mile-long island of Eleuthera. It was settled in the 17th century by the Company of Eleutheran Adventurers, who came to the Bahamas from England to found the first democratic government in the Western hemisphere. The town today is picturesque -- perfectly nestled in a natural harbour on the Caribbean coastline of the Island. Less than half a mile across the island is the Atlantic coastline, crested with long stretches of shallow coral reefs and world-famous powdery pink sand beaches. Nearby necessities: Within a five-minute walk of the apartments are supermarkets, clothing and gift shops, automobile and bicycle rentals, banks, a post office, a medical clinic, a dentist, churches, restaurants, nightclubs, bars, and liquor stores. Travel Info: The International Airport is seven miles from the town, and is served from Nassau and by BahamasAir and SouthernAir, and from Florida by Continental and TwinAir.
