Inverness house Rental Property Information

Privacy and tranquility: This 12 year old, architect designed home sits high on the Inverness Ridge with breath-taking panoramas of Tomales Bay and Elephant Mountain. Walking distance to Point Reyes National Seashore trails. Migratory birds transit the area en mass, as well as the occasional gray fox. We have a resident bobcat, who may let you photograph him. We had a report of a mountain lion in the driveway, but I'm skeptical. The Raven's Roost is located just a little over an hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge and is immediately adjacent to the incredible Point Reyes National Seashore.

  • The house is to be used by our overnight guests only, and cannot be used for larger parties, weddings or groups of more than 12 adults.

    Cleaning fee of $125 regardless of length of stay.

  • This rental consists of a four bedroom, two and a half bath home and a detached guest cottage. In the main house, one room has a king bed, the other three have queens. The cottage has no cooking facilities but adds a queen bed, full bath (shower only) small refrigerator and a sink. The four bedrooms (five including the cottage) are each large and well separated from each other. The perfect setting for two to five couples. Add the futon and sofa sleeper to accommodate a few extra.

This is a wonderful house for families, company retreats or groups of friends to get together in a very peaceful setting. There is ample common space - the dining room seats twelve. Large living room has vaulted ceilings and custom lighting. Dramatic views from all rooms. Kitchen includes granite counters, custom cabinetry, restaurant-grade oven with hood. Upstairs/downstairs decks and patio offer plenty of outdoor space. Relax in the hot tub after a day on the trail or at the beach.
