Lake Rescue Chalet – An Amenity-Packed Ski House w/easy access to Okemo, Killington, Pico or Ascutney! This house has it all – a glorious outdoor hot tub to sink into after a hard day skiing or riding. Six bedrooms. Two kitchens, two living rooms and two dining rooms. Plenty of room for your family or group of up to 16! The house is just 3 miles from Okemo’s Jackson Gore area and 12 miles from Killington’s Skyeship! Lake Rescue Chalet sleeps 16 people on two levels that each feature full living areas – including a kitchen/living/dining room – and three bedrooms apiece! Upstairs and down are connected by a wrought-iron spiral staircase, and each level has its own bathroom, fireplace, TV and VCR. It's a terrific home for families and friends who want to spend time together but also cherish their privacy. When not skiing, enjoy our many videos and games!

In central Vermont, 2 1/2 hours from Boston and just four from NYC, there is a place where the mountains are the greenest of green and a string of pristine lakes is the bluest of blue. The fish are always biting in the summer;feathery flakes fall on red-gold leaves in October; and flowers burst into a jumble of audacious color in May. The only thing that beats taking a canoe out on a misty summer morning is screaming down a ski slope after a fresh snowfall. In winter the snow is deep and fluffy from December well into April -- perfect for skiing! With nine ski areas within 40 miles, you have plenty to choose from.

Skiing Information: Choose from nine ski areas within 30 miles -- the closest are Okemo, just three miles down the road, and the six-mountain Killington (12 miles to Skyship) with sister Pico (18 miles). Guest Book We rented this house for 5 months during the winter. We are 60% of the way thru the season and it has been great. The mountain, lakes and the town of Ludlow are all easily accessible from the Lake House. The house sleeps 12 in 6 bedrooms and conveniently has 2 kitchen and fireplaces. The driveway has ample space. The views are tremendous and lovely. The hot tub is an added bonus and it can comfortably handle 5 or 6 people. The owners are friendly and helpful and willing to offer help if you have questions about the area. It is a truly fun place with games for kids and TVs, VCRs and cable TV and movies for all ages. We feel at home here and will be sad to go at the end of this great ski season. The deck around the house is large and sports a large picnic table and a gas grill to give even more options to you at dinnertime. There's not much to say except this place is great!
