WATERFRONT Kayak, swim, snorkel and fish from our back yard. Enjoy a full 180-degree view of the water and the soaring Koolau Mountains that frame the bay. Kayak out to Coconut Island where the t.v. show Gilligan's Island was filmed. The water around the shoreline is only knee to waist deep and you can see the ocean floor and the sea life. Enjoy early morning sunrises and spectacular sunsets over the mountains. Every month, you can see the full moon set over the mountains in the early hours of the morning. The photos you see on this site were taken from the home's lanais and from the back yard of the house.

BEACHES The country's best beach, the 3-mile long white sand Kailua Beach is just a 7 minute drive from the house on the same street that the house is on. We provide all the beach equipment you need: beach towels, toys, chairs, coolers, umbrellas, shoes, and boogie boards. Kailua Beach is a great beach for swimmers of all ages and for kayaking, wind surfing, kite surfing, and walking. Enjoy early morning sunrises while walking in the morning or the occasional full moon rising over the horizon in the evening.

TRANQUILITY Awaken to the cooing of doves and the rustle of the wind in the coconut palms. Relax on the lanai and enjoy the serenity that nature provides. Located near 3 major 'highways' makes it just a 20-25 minute drive to the airport, Honolulu, Waikiki and Pearl Harbor. When you tire of the hustle of traveling around the island, you can come home to the tranquility of the White Ginger on the bay.
