Lake O the Pines house Rental Property Information
This is a great venue for weddings and family reunions. Located on the north shore of beautiful Lake o'the Pines, this retreat is only 15 minutes west of historic Jefferson. One mile from the highway, this specially designed double brick wall constructed home provides the silence of nature at its best. Ten of the 38 acres are cleared. The other acreage offers several hiking trails with abundant wildlife. The deer are a regular sight on the mountain. Longer stays are made much easier with a large, fully-equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer. For weddings or reunions, there is a commercial ice machine on location. Groups sometimes choose to pitch a tent on the lawn, while some camp in the park -- less than two minutes away. The tents are generally used for sleeping at night, but sometimes Uncle Joe cannot resist taking that afternoon nap. The gentle breeze coming from the lake -- 150 feet below -- makes one appreciate another definition of 'afternoon delight'.
