Cayman Brac house Rental Property Information
This is a great family vacation rental! The house is located on two acres of very private oceanfront with a gazebo near the ocean. The gazebo has electricity and it's nice to listen to some nice music while relaxing in the hammock. The overhead light, lights up the gazebo for a seaside evening meal. The gazebo is perfect for morning coffee as well as relaxing in the hammock when the sun is at its zenith. The property contains a picnic table, shade trees, and an outside shower. There are also two showers inside the house, and desalinated water. The nearest house is about 150' away. This is a perfect place for couples, small families, or friends to experience the underwater magic of Cayman Brac in complete safety and privacy. Although the house is on one side of a road and the Caribbean Sea is on the other, this road only has about ten cars using it per day. The view from the house is breathtaking.

Further Details for the house on Cayman Islands
Although the entrance to the water isn't sandy (Cayman Brac doesn't have many nice sandy beaches and if it did it'd be overcrowded and privacy would be elusive at best), it's possible to enter the water nearby with ease. Then you will be able to immediately sample some of the finest snorkeling on Cayman Brac. There I've seen octopuses, large anemones, scorpionfish, turtles, slipper lobsters, spiny lobsters, huge green moray eels, harmless nurse sharks, reef squid mating before my eyes, spotted eagle rays, and nearly every fish that's listed in the guide books -- including a batfish, which is quite rare. It's certainly possible to enjoy The Brac if one isn't a water person, but it helps to have a deep appreciation of the kaleidoscopic treasures that are ubiquitous in front of my house. I love to relax in one of the hammocks around the hottest hours and read or sleep but I love to be in the water also, either snorkeling, diving, swimming, or kayaking.
Of course, it's also fun to cycle either early or late, or go hiking, or exploring a cave full of bats and stalactites and stalagmites. (I've been in one spectacular cave that isn't in the guidebooks but should definitely be!) The house is only a ten minute walk from an extremely well-stocked, brand new supermarket and it's possible to shop by bicycle if one wants to forego the expense of renting a car. The Brac does have excellent, well-maintained roads and modern cars and vans to rent. If one wants to dive, a rental car is a necessity. I have friends bring any local fruit that's in season to guests for free because I think they should experience as much as possible that's either delicious or exciting. If you keep your eyes wide open you can see a lot of things the average tourist misses.
I've seen a gorgeous white owl in front of my house at midnight, a huge beautiful black witch moth with false eyespots on its wings that's supposed to live in rainforests (The Brac doesn't have any of these - it's too small and low) under a streetlight near the house, an adorable baby two inch long octopus in the tidepool in front of the house after dark by flashlight (more than once) and I've found exotic shells beachcombing. The Brac is an extremely safe island and one reason is because it's not so big. Larger places tend to attract unsavory people who can easily get lost. Violent crime against tourists doesn't exist and Brackers love tourists. I feel totally at ease anywhere on The Brac, no matter what the hour is. It's so quiet near my house always. Airplanes never fly over the house and there is almost no traffic; the road could be compared to a dead-end street.
Skiing Information: I just had a marine biologist stay at my house for a week and she couldn't believe how many fantastic creatures she saw in front of the house and on the other side of the island. It's a perfect location for privacy, convenience, safety, and exploring underwater....and much more. I've just installed a ceramic tile counter top and splashback with gorgeous tropical fish and parrots on it in the kitchen; a few friends there said it looked terrific. There's also a new, very large AC in the living room to go along with the ones in the BRs. I also just brought down a new, large size George Foreman grill and an excellent waffle maker. I'm constantly upgrading the house and grounds and have many projects in mind so guests will have the best time possible.
Golf Information: I've had many repeat customers and many were grateful for being able to experience one of the last safe islands with such great underwater attractions in front of the house. I never fail to see something new each time I go in and I'm sure it'll always be that way. The Brac isn't for everyone - no place could be - but I don't want it to be. If your desires are anything like mine, the Brac could be perfect for you also. I have recently upgraded the bicycles to new high quality bicycles with shock absorbers and plan to bring down one more next May. I also have an excellent, two-person, sit-on-top, diving kayak for people with some experience kayaking that love exercise. I love exercise, but I usually rent a car from my manager, Elo Estaban, (her price is very competitive) because I like to dive and a car is necessary for divers. That's the price one has to pay for being away from crowds and that's why I chose this location.
