We welcome you to our historic family home we call “By The Sea” in the Wianno Club area of the Village of Osterville. As you drive through the winding country roads of the Village of Osterville, you step back in time to a simpler, relaxing way of life. Then proceeding down Wianno Avenue until you are within one block to the ocean and then onto Washington street to our historic Cape on Warren street. The quintessential Cape greets you with lovely window boxes, sun-filled rooms, modern kitchen appliances and fully-fenced yard for your family pet. Our home can serve as your jumping off point for many day trips, but at the end of your busy day, allowing you to return to the quiet “By The Sea” comfort. When you return home, you can enjoy a family board game, book, or read one of our guide books to plan tomorrow’s activities. We are a short ten minute walk to Dowes Beach Dowes Beach which is well-known for its warm Nantucket Sound water and sugar sand expansive beach.

Our home is located a few blocks from the ocean in the desired Wianno area nearby the Wianno Club's tennis courts. Unlike other areas on the Cape, the Village of Osterville has maintained its country charm absent of commercial businesses and fast food establishments. The Village has many small shops, yet it is relatively close and only a fifteen minute drive to the numerous mall shopping offered in Hyannis. The Village has miles of safe roads, perfect for walking or taking that bicycle ride yet completely free of the Route 28 traffic associated with many other Cape Cod communities. There is the largest privately owned park, Armstrong-Kelley park centrally located offering free public access to its over 8 wooded acres. Our home can serve as your jumping off point for many day trips, but at the end of your busy day, allowing you to return to the quiet “By The Sea” comfort.

| Notes: | For the comfort of all, our home is NON-SMOKING. We do ask any guests to please respect others and simply smoke outside. My wife and I have two older large dogs so we have a fenced yard and this is a pet friendly house without the requirement of extra deposits or increased pet rent. We kindly expect that you will utilize the exceptional vacuum cleaner to remove all dog hairs prior to departure. The house is located in a very quiet area between the Wianno Club's tennis and golf course. There is never any traffic with the exception of perhaps a golf cart driven by a staff member. The area is great for the evening after dinner stroll or perhaps a walk to water. |

Relax and Enjoy-We Provide Everything! We want your stay to be relaxing and enjoyable and you will find our home has all the modern conveniences you have in your own home. With that said, our home has Direct satellite large screen HDTV, HD DVD, CD AM/FM stereo, french door refrigerator, Thermador SS dishwasher, and Jenn-Aire stove/oven. There is wonderful fully working fireplace in the living room. The home offers sleeping for six plus occupants with a first floor master bedroom with a queen bed, 35” television and separate sitting room and upstairs offering two additional spacious bedrooms with a queen bed and two twin beds. Our home is tasefully decorated with many antiques. The patio situated in a private fenced rear yard setting is done in cobble and has a Vermont Castings gas BBQ grill for your cooking pleasure and a complete patio set for outdoor dining. This is a Pet Friendly home, so your family pet is more than welcome and there are no extra charges or deposits required.
Just bring Clothes and Toiletries! We provide all the linens, silverware, paperware, dinnerware, pots, pans, etc. and the foregoing is brand new, purchased at Pottery Barn and Bed and Bath. My wife is a clean freak and she maintains our home in perfect sparkling condition. We provide everything down to the soap and dryer sheets so that all you need is personal toiletries, clothes, and groceries. There are new front-loading Whirpool Duet washer/dryer in the basement for your convenience.
Pet Friendly....bring the dog We have two great older large dogs and my wife and I welcome those with family pets. Therefore there is no extra charge or deposits and we have a secure fenced yard.
