Enjoy beautiful ocean sunsets and views of the island of Maui, Kohala Mountains, Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, and Hualalai from this exquisite custom-built house! Alaua Hale is only minutes away from white sand beaches, world-class golf courses, shopping and restaurants, Parker Ranch, and many other attractions. It's close to major resort areas such as Hilton Waikoloa, Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, and Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel; yet is much more spacious, economical, and private than the hotels. Many of our guests attend events such as weddings or business conventions at the resort hotels but do not want to stay at the hotels. This property is perfect as it is only 10 minutes drive and features highspeed Roadrunner internet access for those that need to stay connected when they travel.

This home is ideally located as a home base for exploring this beautiful island. It is situated away from the hustle and bustle of the Kohala Gold Coast resorts. Yet it is only a short drive to world famous beaches and golf courses, shopping and dining at the King's Shops, and dining at the resorts. Kailua-Kona town, a 30 minute drive, has snorkeling and scuba tours, dinner cruises, shopping, and many other tourist activities. The home of the paniolo, or Hawaiian Cowboy, is only a 20 minute drive. There you can visit historic Parker Ranch and visit the museum and participate in activities such as horseback riding, ATV rides, wagon rides and many other fun things to do! From there you can head to Hilo town, about 1.5 hours, and the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, about 2 hours. As you can see, this house is ideally located for exploring our wonderful island!
