Charming Studio in Montmartre Just two blocks from the steps of Sacre-Coeur. Come and taste the Parisian life. From Place Charles Dullin, enter the gate of Villa Dancourt and its private courtyard. It was the Montmartre address to Josephine Baker in the 1930’s and Charles Aznavour in the 60’s and today the home of many entertainers and artists. Our studio is situated on the third floor (there is an elevator). It has lots of sun and light throughout the day with a view of the courtyard from the large bay window, and at night it is very quiet.

In such a lively neighborhood, you can walk to the corner bakery for your favorite croissant or baguette, or the supermarket for your wine (less expensive than water) and wide selection of cheese. There are tons of little restaurants to choose from and at night, all the entertainment of live theatre and night clubs. For our new visitors, we have left a map of Montmartre with a list of places to see and things to do.

Montmartre is a unique artsy area Step outside our apt, place Charles Dullin with its oldest theatre of Paris, lots of outside cafes and little restaurants where you meet artists from all over the world. Visit the Montmartre museum, Dali Museum with 300 of his master pieces .For a walk through the widing streets up to the Sacre Coeur where all the lovers meet, you will have the best view of Paris and feel the heart of Paris. Behind Sacre Coeur is the'Place du Tertre' where artists paint outside and sell their works . You can also enjoy all kinds of souvenirs shops and cafes.

Night in town Montmartre is the most entertaining at night with famous bars and night clubs. For the most entertaining shows, the Moulin Rouge is just a couple of blocks away., and the cafes are also for people watching. Paris lives at night.

Other Activities shopping, biking. Tickets for bus tours, museums passes and metro passes on sale at the information booth, 2 blocks from apt (Anvers metro stop).
