Waterfront, Rustic home on Lake Winnipesaukee. Home was built in the 1960's by Walter Gardener, one of New Hampshire's best known lumbermen. Charming and warm. Wooden walls, floors and beams are prevalent throughout the home . Five Bedrooms, 3 1/2 Baths, sleeps 12. Large backyard that slopes down to the waterfront. Granite slab deck/patio on the water. Dock with breakwater and sandy beach.

Governor's island is arguably the most prestigious location on Lake Winnipesaukee which is the largest lake in New England. It is minutes from Laconia airport and approximately one hour from Manchester, NH, airport. It is close to numerous entertainment venues including the Meadowbrook concert hall which books major Comediens, Country singing stars and 70's-80's rock groups. The Governor's Island Club, located on the island, has clay tennis courts and a gorgeous waterfront barbecue area for large groups. Restaurants, a water park, Cinemas, antique shops, etc, etc are close by.

- Two pf the bedrooms (King and Queen) have a rustic New England feel to them. The third Queen bedroom has a more modern feel to it with wall to wall carpeting. There arw also two bedrooms that each have two twin beds. There is also a pull-out sofa bed in the TV room.
