Additonal Information Taxi with its flat rate of 16 pesos or $1.60 dollars within 4 miles range is a very economical way to move around in Huatulco. The gatekeeper will have phone numbers to the local taxi cabs. Rental cars are also available but expect to pay around $40-$50 US dollars per day. You might be better off to negotiate a price and hire a local taxi driver for full day trips/excursions . Huatulco offers a large variety of restaurants , shopping, a small mall with a four-plex movie theater, a championship 18 hole golf course, a marina for boating, jet skiing, scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing, deep sea fishing, horseback riding, ATV jungle tours, coffee plantation tours, Magic Falls tours, river rafting and many more other activities.
