    A 50% Deposit is required to secure a reservation. The balance is due one month prior to vacation.
    Cancellation Policy: Monies will be re-funded if the villa can be re-rented for the same time period. We encourage purchasing travel insurance if you feel there is a risk of cancellation.

    Maids tip will be collected in advance for groups of 5 or more

  • All guest bedrooms are on the second floor and have individual air conditioning units and quality mattresses. Two ocean view bedroom suites have their own private bath, sitting area and terraced balconies. The third ocean view bedroom shares the large terraced balcony (where you will find a comfortable hammock) and has a full bath immediately outside the doorway entrance. A large dormitory has two twin beds and two bunk beds to sleep 6 comfortably. The 5th mountain view bedroom has two twin beds. Beds can be moved around to suit guest's needs. There is also a double size futon, a raised twin Aerobed, 2 cribs and folding cot so larger groups (beyond 15) can be accomodated. There is also a conversion kit and appropriate bedding to turn twin beds into a king size bed. All doors and windows are screened and shuttered to keep insects out, while ceiling fans throughout the villa circulate the cool refreshing ocean breezes.

Our housekeeper will cook & serve your meals, snacks & drinks & then whisk away the dirty dishes. She will keep the villa tidy & tend to your laundry. All you do is relax. With 5 or more guests a 2nd full time maid is provided to ensure that all guest, moms included, enjoy a truly carefree vacation. Julio, our full- time private houseman, keeps the gardens, pool, and villa in pristine condition. He owns a large van to provide airport meeting service and can be hired to run errands during your vacation such as going food shopping. We also have a full time manager available 24/7. If you need anything, the staff is there to help. Villa Vista Del Mar has been thoroughly enjoyed as a family home since 1982. Long term staff has become a 2nd family. Numerous updates/additions ensure all furnishings are maintained at high standards. This home was built for fun & comfort. Expect to find the usual family 'stuff ' as well as security features such as a gate used to separate the pool area.

Villa Vista Del Mar is a comfortable family oriented home. The living room has a TV with DVD/VCR and a selection of DVD’s plus a stereo system with CD's. The villa comfortably sleeps 16+ and quality mattresses assure a good night's rest. The two master bedroom suites have their own TVs and rockers for comfortable viewing or reading. Guests enjoy a selection of books, games, cards, and picture puzzles. The large dormitory with two bunk beds and two twin beds is so attractively furnished that even adults enjoy using it. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with two refrigerators, microwave, automatic coffee makers, toaster, blender and household equipment. The outdoor terraces, balconies and pool area provide privacy and room for everyone to spread out and have fun. This is a cherished family home designed for comfort and enjoyment. Life is very good in Playa Cofresi.

Talk to the local tour director about the numerous activities and adventures. You can go on a horseback ride into the mountains, a jeep safari to amazing waterfalls, a catamaran snorkeling trip along the ocean, try white water rafting, ride a cable car up the mountain, take the kids to a go cart park, and much more. There is a Robert Trent Jones golf course and 3 gambling casinos about 6 miles away. Our charming seaside community is now home to 'Ocean World', the Caribbean's largest and newest interactive marine aquatic park where you swim with dolphins, snorkel in a huge salt water aquarium, watch sea lions perform, or enjoy a wide variety of other activities. 'Ocean World Marina', a 35 acre complex with casino, 5 star dining, full scale marina, club house with Las Vegas style entertainment is also open.

Puerto Plata is a wonderful destination for any size group because there is so much to see and do, and everything is so inexpensive. Wonderful meals at local restaurants start as low as $10-15 per entree. The Dominican version of 'Cheers' is just down the street at an oceanfront thatched-roof restaurant called Chris & Mady's. Babysitters for children cost about $30 for a full day. You'll find the Dominicans are well-deserving of their reputation for friendliness and hospitality; they go out of their way to make you feel welcome in their country. It doesn't matter if you don't speak Spanish. Guests have always managed and enjoyed the experience of being exposed to the culture of this beautiful country and its people. So if you have an adventurous heart and truly enjoy being a part of the country you're visiting, come to Villa Vista del Mar at Playa Cofresi. Just be prepared to relax and enjoy, as you fall asleep to the sound of the ocean and wake up with the songbirds.
