Time-Share Penthouse Units for weeks 2 & 3 of 2009. The Galleon Resort is a 5 story time-share facility located on the Gulf of Mexico, in old-town Key West, just 3 blocks from Duval Street. Built in the late 1980s, the Resort is adjacent to Galleon Marina and is ideally located for access to boats, shops, restaurants, and entertainment in old-town Key West. A boardwalk connects other marinas, craft shops, restaurants and grocery stores; and there is always a parade of boats, in and out. The Resort is clean and well maintained. It offers the best of amenities in a beautiful and gentle tropical atmosphere. Children are welcome. Pets are not. The Penthouse Units have 1120 square feet of living space and are fully furnished. A deck overlooks the waterfront swimming pool and private beach. All linens, towels, cookware, dishes and table service are provided. A sauna, exercise room, whirlpool, waterfront bar, one car parking and 24 hour security is provided.

Mallory Square Mallory Square is 4 blocks from the Resort. People congregate each afternoon at 5 p.m. at the square to watch the departure of cruise ships, performances by licensed street performers, and the sensational sun-sets. The Truman White House, the Audubon house, and the home of Ernest Hemmingway are a few blocks away. International Sailboat races typically occur during the 2nd week of January; and famous writers from across the nation often open seminars to the public during the 3rd week. Garden and home tours are often available as are theartre productions in one of the 3 live local thearters.
