It is easily accessible from the main highway, yet completely private and secluded. The Lodge is a great place for family get-togethers, a romantic get-away for two, or a gathering of friends. Some comments from our guests: '...But the best things were the walks along the logging roads, beaver ponds, flowers starting to bloom, and the peace and tranquility of the backwoods.' Ralph, Nancy, Tucker, Keisee and Marlie, from Novelty, Ohio 'Our drive was 5.5 hours, but it was worth it. We are sad to leave this hideaway to return to the stress of the city.' Amy and Pete from New York City 'We wanted to renew our friendships, enjoy nature, and escape the hustle and bustle of life. We wanted to laugh and talk late into the night. Chuck and Lori - newlyweds Although there is not onsite swimming, the cabin is located 2 miles from two state parks which have swimming, boating, nature center, hiking trails of all degrees of length and difficulty. There are beaver dams within walking distance of the cabin.
