Known as the Walleye Capital of the World, the region also sports large and small mouth bass, perch, saugeye and steelhead. Hiking and birding enthusiasts will want to visit Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge located in Oak Harbor. The refuge is a major feeding, nesting and resting area for migrating birds. The park has over 8 miles of nature trails. For some spine-tingling fun visit Cedar Point Amusement Park. With 16 coasters and over 20 rides for the younger children plus an 18 acre water park you can't pass up this fun. Ferries from Marblehead will take you to Kelly's Island or from Catawba you can cruise to Put 'n' Bay Island for a day of entertainment

Love to fish? Set out on Lake Erie for a day of the best walleye fishing in the country not to mention the great perch and bass fishing. If you feel Lake Erie is too rough, you can always turn around and fish in the Bay. We are that close to the lake. Small-mouth and large-mouth bass are plentiful along the rocky shoreline and throughout the bay. Or, fish right outside your front door on your own private pier or right from your waterside patio. After your fishing outing, clean your fish on the fish-cleaning table provided outside the cabin, or have them professionally cleaned. Just want to go for a boat ride? Boat rides, tours, and fishing excursions are available with pick-up and drop-off right from your front door or rent your own boat or jet ski. Parasailing is also available.

How about a round or two of Golf. Putt Putt golf courses are within 10 minutes of the cottage. Want something a bit more challenging? Three 18 hole golf courses are within 10 and 20 minutes from the cottage. Or maybe you just want to do nothing, relax on the beach and enjoy some peace and quiet? You can do that here!
