This cabin is located on 42 acres of high elevation mountain land atop Buck Mountain just outside of Independence Virginia. There are an abundance of recreational opportunities in Grayson County located close to this property. Hiking, biking, canoeing, tubing, kayaking, cycling, horseback riding, trout fishing, hunting, birdwatching, star gazing, music festivals and numerous local and regional festivals. High elevations in Grayson Highlands Park, MT. Rogers in Jefferson National Forest, Point Lookout Mountain and Buck Mountain. Independence is located about 10 min. from Sparta NC, 50 Min. from Jefferson NC, 1 1/2 hours from Winston Salem NC, 2 hours from Charlotte NC and less than 1 hour from both I -77 and I -81.
