Mountain biking, road biking, Horseback Riding: Make arrangements at the foot of the mountain and at a number of nearby stables - Vermont State Horse Show held nearby . Weston Playhouse (just 9 miles north). - Canoing, kayaking, fishing, Water skiing, and wake boarding are possible in any of the many lakes and streams nearby.Bromley Adventure Zone (just 6 miles west): - County fairs and craft fairs at some of the nearby towns. Winter activities: Ski or Snowboard at Stratton Mountain. Sunbowl entrance with easy parking availability is only a mile away. Other mountains including Bromley , Okemo, magic Mountain Moutn snow all within 15-45 minutes. Horse drawn sleigh rides, cross country skiing, shopping, fine dining all within minutes.
