You will have a view from your windows of 'le Bateau Lavoir', and Renoir's home 'Le Chateau des Brouillards'. Vincent Van Gogh, Dali, Degas, Utrillo, and many others used to live and work here. The Windmills, the only vineyard of Paris and the Daily Open Air Market of Lepic-Abbesses are one block away ... The Butte Montmartre, with it's rich and colorful local life, has one of the largest concentration in Paris of cafes, restaurants, typical boulangeries and patisseries, wine cellars, art galleries, fashion shops, etc..., you name it ! Since it is inhabited by a majority of genuine Parisians, unlike other great 'classical' areas of the Center of Paris, and cars being restricted while pedestrian have priority all over, it became the most romantic and desirable location for a perfect and authentic Parisian Experience.
