History of the Cody House Architect William F. Cody built the “Third Home on the Hill” in 1964 for inventor Stanley Goldberg. At this time, Architectural Digest showcased the home as a definitive example of contemporary desert architecture. Since 1964, the home has been modernized and upgraded, but has kept the mid-century sensibility by retaining furniture and artwork original to the era.
