Rental Rates for the house in California, USA



Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • Have the pool heated to 85 degrees in the fall and winter months making the pool usable year round! It's like swimming and playing in a huge hot tub! Heating rate is $125 per week.

    We determine our rates based on demand at any given time of year. Peak travel and vacation weeks typically are Spring Break (March/Apr), Summer (mid-May to mid-Sep), Thanksgiving (late Nov) and Christmas/New Year's (late Dec to early Jan).

    Returning guests are eligible for DISCOUNTED RATES, be sure to ask Angela about it!
  • Help yourself pay for your stay with us, even BEFORE you get here.

    We have a guest referral program and pay a $15/night referral fee to anyone who has stayed with us or is contracted to stay with us.

    Tell your friends you are staying at an Ultimate SoCal Vacation Home during your trip. Or when you get home, and are sharing memories and pictures from your trip and your time in our home, be sure they know how contact us.

  • All three bathrooms were remodeled in June 2008. The two fulls baths feature custom tile work throughout, new vanities, sinks and mirrors. You'll find lots of hooks so everyone's towel can dry.

  • The master suite has a long walk-in closet and private bathroom. The newly remodeled tile and granite bathroom features a step-down Roman shower tub with frosted garden window. The master is located on the main level of the tri-level, opposite from the other sleeping areas in the house. Upstairs, two guest rooms feature queen beds, ceiling fans, closets, luggage racks, and CD alarm clocks. One bedroom's window looks out into the backyard, while the other has two large windows that look upon the cul-de-sac, and a third smaller window that looks into the backyard. The third bedroom upstairs features two sets of twin bunk beds with removable ladders and optional side rails on the top bunks. This room overlooks the pool and garden area through two windows. Downstairs in the theater room there are two queen size sofa sleepers, position the couches any way that works for your needs. This room has no ceiling fan, oscillating fans are provided for all rooms in the house.

There are several ways you can maximize the space for sleeping in this home, including the use of up to three air mattress which we will gladly provide upon request. Let us know your needs and we'll work together to find a solution. The sofa sleeper in the living room is a full size, while the two downstairs are both queen size. Please note that there is no central air conditioning in this home. There is an 11,000 BTU floor unit on the main the level of the house in the living room. There are new windows that seal nicely, close them up and run the a/c if you like. Every bedroom has a ceiling fan and there are oscillating fans throughout the house. With the windows open, the house usually stays pretty comfortable. You'll find the kitchen completely stocked with any utensils you might need during your stay. There are grilling utensils for the outdoor kitchen as well, and cooking between the two is a snap because they face each other from just 15 feet away.

Some Helpful Suggestions for Your SoCal Trip We know how to have fun while maximizing your time. Here are a few pointers: - Do Disneyland on a weekday. This seems like a no-brainer, but there really is a huge difference in the amount of people on a weekend which means longer lines! - Plan at least one half day hanging out at the house. Swim, play games, watch movies, do whatever, together. You are choosing to stay in a vacation home for comfort, convenience and fun! Some of your best memories will be made just enjoying time together at 'home,' (the games help a lot!) - Even though check-in usually is around 3pm, get to Anaheim a couple hours early and do your shopping. Go to Target, Costco, the grocery store and wherever else you need to get situated. This way, you can move it all into the house at once when you check in, and start having fun right away! - Plan out what your group wants to do BEFORE you get to the house, even if it's just Monday is Disneyland, Tuesday the beach, Wednesday Hollywood, etc.

What Michael Loves about the Garden Retreat When I first walked into this house I fell in love with the layout. It's a totally killer 1966 tri-level at the end of a street that nobody has to drive down unless they live on. Totally secluded. Plus, it backs up to the back side of an athletic field for a school. Cannon balls off the diving board are killer! Lots of birds, there are two doves that nest in the cypress (balled up) trees, and there is a really awesome blue bird that comes by. We bought this home in April, put a TON of work into it for 6 weeks while we lived in it, then set it up with everything necessary to have an awesome time. Theater room? Yea. I got to go on a Best Buy rampage for HD TV's and audio equipment, got a great deal on a new air hockey and ping pong table, set up the garage, put in the hot tub and outdoor kitchen.... next thing we knew this house was dialed in! We've put a lot of thought, consideration and care into setting this home up for your maximum enjoyment, we're sure you'll love it!
