    Horses allowed, stalls set up in one section of barn. Additional cleaning fee $10/horse for the stay as opposed to per night.

The main ranch house has a fenced yard to keep the cattle out and the kids in. There is a pond in front of the house. KEEP AN EYE ON THE KIDS. There is no smoking in any building on the ranch. As most of them are historic buildings please help us care for them. Fire Ban - no open fires allowed CLOSE TO CRIPPLE CREEK (30 MINUTES) AND 11 MILE & SPINNEY RESERVOIRS -(20 MINUTES) Please note cell phones probably won't work, but there is a land line at the ranch for local calls. Bring a calling card for long distance. There is NOT a TV. It is hard to remember what to do when there is no TV. But playing some board games or cards is sure a good substitue and good family time.

OUT DOOR ENTHUSIASTS If you truly just want to get away from it all - and enjoy the peace and quiet and the sounds of nature and wildlife then you need to treat yourself to an escape to this historic ranch. A creek runs through the property into the pond in the front yard. Just sit and listen to the creeks running water. Take a hike right out your front door - or head down the road to the National Forest where you can litterally hike, horseback ride or ATV for miles and miles and miles of wonderful trails, incredible mountain views. And better yet you might not see another single sole! There are just miles and miles of trails surrounding this gorgeous area. The views are incredible. You could ride the trails with your horses or ATVs for weeks and still not see it all. We specialize in vacation properties that allow horses .
