Lopez Island cabin Rental Property Information
A cozy 'guest habitat' that sits in a tranquil woodland setting overlooking gardens and valley fields below and just a short walk to the beach. Mud Bay beach is just a 5 minute walk from the Cabin. You can launch your canoe or kayak or just relax and take in the views and salt air. Agate Beach and Barlow Bay are also within walking distance of the Cabin. This 'hand crafted' cabin caters to modern lifestyles but retains all of the charm of a country cabin including a small woodstove in the main living area. The cozy 'life room' has an extremely comfortable 'pillow top' queen bed, a comfortable seating area which includes a couch, the woodstove and handcrafted cabinetry for storage of all you items. Large sliding doors open to the deck which runs the full length of the cabin. The fully equipped kitchenette and small dining area opens to a covered porch and the bathroom has an oversized shower. There is a gas grill, picnic area and acres of woodland trails just behind the Cabin.

Located in the San Juan Islands just a little over 2 hours drive and a ferry ride from Seattle. Lopez known as the 'friendly isle' is the first ferry stop from Anchortes. The weather is very comfortable with an average of only 23 inches of rainfall a year - half of Seattle's annual amount. The average temperature during the summer is in the mid-seventies. Lopez is delightful in the spring and fall. You can always enjoy touring the island on your bicycle or renting bikes. Lopez is noted for its rolling terrain and picturesque scenery with 33 miles of bike routes and plenty of local hospitality on the 'friendly isle.'

There are miles of beaches, rocky tide pools, wildflowers, sea life and whale watching, salt air and sunsets. The Cabin is just 5 minutes walk from Mud Bay and a nice beach area where you can launch your canoe or kayak or just sit and soak in the scenery and salt air. At the Cabin you can sit comfortably on the deck and enjoy the views of the gardens and woodland setting around you or hike through the forest trails surrounding the Cabin. The Cabin caters to modern lifestyles but retains all of the qualifies of the cozy country cabin that is is. This 'guest habit' sit comfortable on several wooded acres. You will enjoy fabulous sunsets from the deck and gardens and you are only a short drive to Lopez Village.

From Lopez you can also take day trips (either car or just as a passenger) to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island or to Orcas Island or all the way to Victoria BC during the summer/fall season.
