Just 5 minutes from the Chapala Country Club golf course, this villa has a breathtaking view of Lake Chapala, the largest lake in Mexico. The combined living room, dining room and kitchen area found on the lower level is surrounded by glass patio doors to maximize the view. Mid-level, you will find the master bedroom/bath and a large, two room suite with bath. A rushing stream runs under two balconies; one outside the master bedroom, one outside the suite. There is an additional bedroom and bath upstairs. A delightful feature of this home is the large palapa (outdoor area with a straw roof), an ideal location for hosting parties or just relaxing in the hot tub. This spacious villa has all the amenities and is located in a gated community with private parking and a pool. The Lake Chapala/Ajijic resort area is only minutes away.

The average, yearly temperature in the Chapala/Ajijic resort area is in the 70’s. Visitors enjoy open-air cafes and restaurants year round. Tourists love shopping in the area’s historic, narrow streets, searching for Mexican handicrafts, including silver jewelry, fashions and gifts. The lakeside area has long been a mecca for writers and artists. In fact, the area boasts the oldest English-speaking theater in Mexico, the Little Theater, which seats 112 people. The large North American community supports a wide variety of cultural activities; however, visitors can also enjoy physical activities such as hiking, golfing, and horse back riding. There are many leisure-oriented clubs in Ajijic that welcome visitors to their regular meetings. Hot springs bathing facilities are located just west of the area, and tours to Guadalajara and Tequilla are easily arranged.

Golfing at the Chapala Country Club Chapala Country Club (CCC) is a semi-private country club, offering a challenging golf course with beautiful surroundings. The golf course is built along the side of mountains, therefore, many holes have varied elevation which provide almost every lie imaginable. In addition, the course challenges the golfer with blind shots, water shots, tree-lined fairways, and doglegs. The CCC provides a full-scale practice range with pitching area, putting green, and sand trap practice area Non-members are welcome to enjoy the facilities. Caddies, electric golf carts and lockers are also available.
