Located close to two charming fishing villages that feature general stores, gift shops, galleries, ice cream shoppe, library, the 'Forest Gump' lighthouse and museum, sand beach,ferry to Monhegan Island, puffin watches, sunset cruises, kayak rentals and lessons.

Restaurants The dining options are many. Maine lobster & clams on outside decks, casual and fine dining with oceanviews, take out seafood to eat or fresh seafood to buy and cook at the cottages.

Nearby Nearby Rockland has two 18 hole golf courses, museums, art galleries, many shops and restaurants, theaters, (movies and live shows) In July, it features the North Atlantic Blues Festival and in August, the Lobster Festival and Boat Show.
