Canggu Beach villa Rental Property Information

Located 5 minutes walk from the beach, Villa Natalie is a 10,000 sq ft riverfront property. Each of the 2 bedroom suites has adjacent living areas that can be used for families with children, with separate dressing areas and twin bathrooms (one covered, one open to the stars). Extra day-beds, sofa beds and cots are available upon request. Our free form, infinity edge pool has stunning views over the opposite padi fields and steps at 30cm intervals - great for the kids. The living and dining areas can easily accommodate up to 12 people and our staff are always on hand to cater for your needs when necessary (additional chef can be provided on request). All entertainment needs are taken care of with LCD TV, Astro satellite feed and a collection of almost 30,000 MP3's, movies and games - and a growing library of holiday reads. Our 2 story watchtower also allows for sunset watching upstairs and riverside sun soaking downstairs with lush tropical gardens enclosing all the areas of the villa.

Questions on Internet Access. We're often asked about internet access at Villa Natalie. Down the road (when the services become more reliable and cheaper) then we'll install broadband and wifi. In the meantime we have dial-up access from a local provider. No modem is provided at the Villa at the moment, so please ensure your laptop has a built in modem. Speeds are 'average' (around 30-40 kbps - we've tried skype and it's pretty bad!!! But general surfing is actually not bad). Please ask the manager about how to connect to this and also we request that guests leave a discretionary sum for their usage. We rely upon the discretion of our guests for this, same story with the house phone - there for local and emergency use - but NOT IDD. Mobile phone signals are generally excellent throughout Bali and Blackberry's also work well. GSM rates in Indonesia are high however so you might want to think twice before you call home for hours! Internet cafe's are plentiful in Bali and again the manager knows where to go. Thank you

Payment options. At present we only accept payment via Telegraphic Transfer to our account in Singapore. This method is very safe and secure and we monitor all incoming transfers and advise upon receipt. All details for our bank are provided and we're here to help if you or your bank are a little perplexed. At present we do NOT accept credit cards - nor do we really intend to in the future. We're only one Villa and the monthly costs of accepting cards online, along with the percentage charge that we'd pass to you, really don't seem worth it. Naturally card payments provide protection for you but again, as with our property with guests, we operate on trust and thus far have had no problems. We absorb both government tax AND service charge for all bookings - but do add on a 10% 'token' to all food bills to cover cooking and transport costs of the staff. Also, each and every guest has left a tip behind for the staff, which whilst discretionary, is appreciated by them if you feel they've looked after you.

Little ones. Guests who bring children are always welcome. As owners we have 2 young children who love their home from home. Child beds and one baby cot are on-site along with all necessary bedding. Plastic cutlery, one high chair and kiddie chairs are also there for tea parties and meals! Plenty of pool toys are available too. Kids books, board games, Xbox games and music are all there in the living room. Whilst we consider the house to be child friendly we ALWAYS monitor our little ones as some of the areas (infinity swimming pools, open watchtowers, rivers edge etc) are potentially very dangerous and it is not the responsibility of the staff to watch over them. If you have any other needs, like car seats, extra cots, baby/child provisions from the supermarket prior to your arrival, then please let us know by email and we'll see what we can do.

Golf Information: There are numerous golf courses in Bali. The nearest are at Le Meridien Hotel - about 20 minutes up the road. We don't have any special terms with them as we don't play golf! Guests at Villa Nat have played there before though and the number is in the Villa.
