Hiawassee cabin Rental Property Information

Rising Mist is a new cabin. If you are looking for privacy, peace and quiet, and a very comfortable clean place to stay, but also a place not far away from the lake and all the other fun things to do here in north GA, then look no further. For summer fun on the water, you have Lake Chatuge to the West, or Lake Burton to the East. Both are within easy driving distance. Fall colors so beautiful you have to see them in person - a picture does not do them justice. Have a funnel cake at the GA. Mtn. Fair. There is nothing more relaxing than a frosty fall or snowy winter morning with a nice fire burning in the fireplace, a comfortable chair, a cup of coffee and a good book or a walk on a cool day when your breath fogs up around your face. Spring is also beautiful with the birds waking you up every morning, an abundance of spring flowers in bloom. If any of this sounds like the place you are looking for to get away from the rat race and the fast pace of city life, then make reservations now.

Fair), crafts, history, music, art, playgrounds and of course golf (5 great courses to choose from). All of this and more!   • 50% down is required to reserve your dates & balance is due 1 month prior to arrival.
  • Holidays 3 nights minimum except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year, which are weekly rentals only. Holidays are July 4 , Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. Georgia Mountain Fair 3-night minimum.
    Holidays/Georgia Mtn Fair-Weekdays $160, Weekends $160, Weekly $925 (3-night minimum).
  • Rates based on 4 people. Over 4 guests $7.50/guest/night(Under age 5 free). 25% Deposit required at time of booking, $250 security deposit (Refundable after cleaning) is due with full payment 14 days prior to your arrival. Cancellations must be made 1 month prior to arrival for a full refund. Partial refund will be given if less than a month. Consideration will be given for new dates rebooked. If deposit is made with a credit card a processing fee of $25 will be deducted from the refund. Check in is 4 pm and check out at 11 am.

Our cabin has two living rooms one upstairs and one downstairs. Each living room has a beautiful rock fireplace and offers privacy to couples wanting to spend time alone. The cabin has a wrap around porch that offers you plenty of shade and a place to sit and enjoy that first cup of coffee or the evening sunsets.

Guest Book I just wanted to take a moment to share what a wonderful time we had in Hiawassee! You and your family should be pleased to know that because the experiences we had at Rising Mist Cabin, we will have life-long memories of our summer vacation. The cabin itself is truly special: rustic, elegant, cozy and spotless! Its location is a perfect mix of rural and secluded, while convenient to town. We enjoyed spending our days hiking, biking, and exploring in and around the area, and our evenings grilling out and enjoying the spectacular views of the mountains at 'home'. The cabin is convenient to everything from the Appalachian Trail to Jack Rabbit Mountain, both close by for hiking and biking, as well as a short journey to Tallulah Gorge and the famous 'Dillard House'. The cabin was well stocked with everything from lovely linens to general necessities like cleaning supplies and paper goods.
