Great immediate area for leisurely walks on flat terrain, or more rigorous exercise on the nearby Benton MacKaye Hiking Trail. Also, great proximity to shopping in either Ellijay or Blue Ridge, Horseback Riding, and 20 minutes from McCaysville where they pick you up for Whitewater Rafting the Ocoee River. Take your 4 wheel drive vehicle for an adventure down the road into the National Forest where you might see bear, turkey, beaver, and all kinds of other wildlife.
