Calistoga house Rental Property Information
Two qualities make this house stand apart. The first is the beautiful tile and stone floors throughout, with varied colors and textures, including small decorative inlays. The second is the carefully designed rhythm of the interior space: The living room, with its high cathedral ceiling, wood-framed fireplace, large south-facing picture window and glass doors to the patio, has an exhilarating spaciousness to it. The adjoining kitchen is nicely sized and comfortable, yet feels cozy next to the living room.
The master bedroom has an acid-stained concrete floor and impressive ceiling trusses. Its door is an exquisitely weathered old wooden front door with a decorative grate, recovered from some very old house. The master bathroom features a beautiful stone-lined shower with a gravel-embedded floor built for traction. The modern clawed bath tub has a fine sculptural look. Sconces and fixtures throughout the house are cast iron and opaque glass.
