Wailea cottage Rental Property Information
VILLAPAOLAMAUI, Hawaii. Nestled at the entrance to the luxurious Wailea Resort area, Villa Paola is a haven of tranquility and airy Italian delight; truly the most unique Wailea cottage you will find! Redesigned by artists Alessio and Marcello and luxuriously hand crafted by artisans with old World talent in marble, travertine, mosaics and wood, this 2-bedroom, 2- bath hideaway captures the ambiance and classic elegance of a villa in Tuscany. With warm yellow ocher and umber throughout the villa contrasted to the cobalt blue of the saline swimming pool surrounded by lush tropical foliage, you'll debate if you are in the Mediterranean or on Maui. It's easy to feel as if you have been swept away to Italy when viewing the paintings on every wall that capture the essence of Italian living. Isn't that the perfect topic to discuss over sunset cocktails at the terrace bar shaded by a custom designed red-wood canopy that lights at night by a moonlike fixture.

Guest Book 4/30/2006 While floating in the pool I ask Marcello, “How do you say Paradise in Italian?” He replies with passion, “Paradiso”. Staying here in this delicious guest home has truly been “Paradiso” for me. My dear friend, Karen Therese had suggested that I stay at this recently finished guest home rather than at an impersonal hotel nearby. I awoke the first morning to find myself bathed in a beautiful yellow light surrounded by paintings that filled me with comfort and peace. The lovely crisp curtains covering the doors moved in rhythm with the gentle morning breeze. Stepping outside to explore the pool I am greeted with, “Good morning Bella?” “Yes” I said silently, this will be a week in Paradise that I won’t forget. May this home gift you the same joy, rest and healing I received- Thank you Alessio and Marcello for the privilege of being your first guest! Candace Phillips McMinnville, Oregon
