People of all ages gather to take lessons in Latin or ballroom dancing or just to watch others on the dance floor. On Sunday afternoons a group of Italians play bocci and dance in the Pavilion on the waterfront. Gulfport is the ideal place to enjoy peace and quiet just minutes from downtown St. Petersburg with all its museums, nightlife, restaurants and shopping. The Tampa airport is a 25 minute drive.
